Nein! Nein! Nein! Nein! Nein! Nein! Nein!
Poor ViewCubeGirl. One can only imaging what Der Fuhrer will end up doing to RibbonBoy.
In the meantime, still no word on official support for the Classic UI in Revit 2010. This is unfortunate because unofficially it seems to work just fine - keyboard shortcuts and all.
Update:
1) No, I won't tell you how.
2) No, it's not Photoshop. Or a time machine.
3) If the factory doesn't want to support it - fine. But don't tell me how hard it is to put back when it's apparently still in there.
4) I think I need a beer with Dennis Sheldon.

what does one say to this? it's like a fairy (or drunken leprechaun) came down over the rainbow to deliver a present in the shape of a diamond right out of the cabbage patch.
could it possibly be true?
next thing you're going to tell me is you're voting democrat and you've gotten your LEED AP.
C'mon... how can you get the old (& working) UI for RAC2010?!?!??! You can't tease us like that!!!
Close Photoshop and get back to work Phil!
Well, now that we know it's possible it's just a matter of looking at registry settings or the .ini file to do it for ourselves ;-)
Ok. Autodesk have admitted the classic UI exists and can be hacked and should be used at own risk. So how about letting us all in on the hack and test for ourselves.
Forget Dennis Sheldon. I will supply your beer for life !!
Don't worry guys, I'll get that for you:
"Revit 2010, BIM platform. A UI barely recognizable. Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first 2010 Revit with a 2009 UI. This will be that UI. Better than it was before. Better, stronger, faster. Okay, the same. But new."
The whole discussion about the 2010 stupid UI is now too late and useless.
We already have went thru worst part of it, wasting time for the learning curve and all that.
To me, this is closed.
There are issues with using the old UI, for instance you can't access some of the trim commands or mirror commands any more because some fool decided to split them into separate tools...
